Objective
To provide clear guidelines regarding different types of leave available to employees.
Leave Calendar Year
To be considered from January to December.
Types of Leave

| Privilege Leave (PL) | 14 days |
| Casual Leave (CL) | 8 days |
*Leaves must be applied through the SPINE portal. Unapproved leaves will be treated as unpaid
*No carry forward or leave encashment is allowed after 31st December
Casual Leave (CL)
- CL will be credited to employees’ accounts monthly via the Spine portal.
- Employees can view their available CL balance directly on the Spine portal.
- CL is intended for short-notice, and personal reasons, and is typically not carried forward to the next year.
Privilege Leave (PL)
- Privilege Leave (PL) applies exclusively to confirmed employees.
- Upon confirmation, PL will be credited pro rata.
- Employees should inform their respective managers of PL requests between 15 to 30 days in advance.
Maternity Leave
- Maternity leave is a paid benefit for women, providing them with time off to recover from childbirth and care for their newborn
- Female employees are entitled to 26 weeks of maternity leave for their first and second child and 12 weeks for subsequent pregnancies.
- Employees are required to notify their manager and HR at least 8 weeks before the expected date of delivery to allow for workload planning.
Paternity Leave
- Male employees can avail 5 days of paid leave from the birth date of a child
- This leave can be availed twice during employment.
- This benefit is not available for the birth of a third child or beyond.
Compensatory Off
- Compensatory leave is granted to employees who work on designated weekly off days or declared holidays
- To qualify, employees must work a minimum of 6 hours on the specified day.
- Compensatory leave must be used within 3 months of accrual. Unused compensatory leave will lapse after this period
